JOB DETAILS:

We are seeking part time and full-time Waste Collection Operatives to assist in delivering vital services to our community. If you’re passionate and find joy in outdoor work, this role could be an ideal fit for you.

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm paying 12.57 per hour PAYE; Some weekend shifts might be available

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for the collection of waste (including but not limited to household waste, food waste, garden waste, dry recycling) from residents and business premises across ROMSEY or ANDOVER

Main duties include:

• Collecting and emptying bins and sacks
• Working safely and following instruction
• Providing a high quality customer focused service at all times

• Be able to walk for long periods of time and carry out heavy practical work in all weathers.
• Be flexible and positive in your approach
• Be an effective communicator and enjoy working as part of a team
• Be self-motivated, polite and willing to help residents
