Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for several trainee field technicians who will join an enthusiastic team in delivering construction materials testing to a wide range of clients across the south region. You will be responsible for driving to customer construction sites where you will not only collect samples and prepare materials for laboratory tests but also carry out on-site testing.
The role involves significant physical activity including manual handling of samples up to 25kg.
This position will suit someone who enjoys a hands-on role, meeting new people, working with a dynamic team or independently and loves some travel. Full training will be provided so experience is not essential.
By joining us, you will be part of a 1,700-strong team that helps the business carry out 7 million tests per year for 5,000 clients.
We are looking for;
- A professional, dynamic and motivated individual with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Interested in construction and laboratory testing – no previous experience required
- Communicative, organised, flexible and committed
- Good with numeracy
- High customer service ethic – is passionate about meeting customers’ expectations and improving service levels
- Ability to identify problems and defects
- Attention to detail
- CSCS card desirable
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
