CBW Staffing Solutions Space Planning Coordinator – Glasgow
CBW is recruiting on behalf of one of our key clients we are seeking a dedicated Space Planning Coordinator. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, management, and execution of commercial moves, adds & changes projects of varying sizes and complexities for FM key clients. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, operational staff, and supply chains to ensure seamless project delivery from start to finish.
Key Duties:
Serve as the primary contact for all stakeholders involved in moves, adds & changes projects.
Support the relocation process in collaboration with the Space Planning Lead and manage associated specialists.
Maintain effective communication with client representatives and service providers throughout the project.
Oversee the entire Space Planning project lifecycle, including client meetings, budget management, health and safety compliance, and contractor scheduling.
Conduct site surveys for relocations, clearances, and office furniture layouts, and update AutoCAD drawings as needed.
Use AutoCAD Space Planning to create detailed and accurate layout plans and proposals that optimise space utilization.
Ensure the accuracy of information in CAFM systems.
Assist with estimates, work schedules, and client agreements.
Manage projects from initiation to completion, both onsite and financially.
Coordinate with FM site teams to ensure smooth handovers of relocation projects.
Supervise out-of-hours relocation work to ensure client occupation readiness.
Minimize project risks and exposures.
Meet or exceed agreed KPI’s / SLA’s.
Perform self-audits and quality control on all documents, drawings, and standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience in delivering Space Planning services or an equivalent.
Effective liaison with various stakeholders.
Solid budget management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant Space Planning services management software.
Experience of AutoCAD.
Knowledge of office space planning is advantageous.
Self-motivated and well-organised.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of move logistics is beneficial.
Familiarity with Facilities Management and CAFM systems.
Valid driving licence.
Flexibility to work overtime.
Willingness to travel within Scotland, the North of England, and occasionally to the London area.
