Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the full lifecycle of a 16m fit-out project for a new music venue near Kensington, London.

This role requires overseeing the project from pre-construction (starting in a few weeks) through to completion, with full responsibility for commercial management and delivery. Pre-construction includes an enabling works package, and on-site work is scheduled to begin in January.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full commercial responsibility from pre-construction to project handover
• Preparation and management of budgets, cost plans, and forecasts
• Managing subcontractor procurement, contracts, and variations
• Leading valuations, payments, and final accounts
• Managing risk, value engineering, and cost control strategies
• Ensuring compliance with contract terms and D&B requirements
• Liaising with the project team, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline
• Proven experience in managing high-value fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of D&B contracts and fit-out processes
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to lead the commercial aspects of a project from start to finish
