Senior Engineer

My client is a leading civil engineering contractor based in Essex and have projects across the UK. They are urgently recruiting a senior engineers based in East London, near Dartford.

This is a long-term opportunity and potential candidate can start immediately. Rate will be negotiable based on the experience.

Work mixture of sub-structure works such as foundation, base slab, drainage, pit and ducting etc.

Candidates must have min 10-year experience in UK in various civil packages such as RC work, excavation (including bulk excavation), drainage and other sub-structures.

Role and responsibility:

• Ensure all drawings are up-to-date
• Identify issues, classes etc and raise RFI and speak to relevant parties such as architect/ designers.
• Ensure site engineers have most up to date information.
• Maintain site diary.
• Good knowledge and understand with setting out.

Requirements

Degree / HNC level education in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Previous experience working as project engineer or senior engineer.
UK Driving License
Willing to travel as part of their role.
