Project Manager Contractor We at Reddbrick are recruiting for a leading Regional Family owned contractor delivering Education, Commercial, Hotels and Leisure Facilities, Student accomodation and Retirement Living shemes. Future works will be in the Yorkshire and East Midlands region. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Site Manager looking to take the next step in their career, to join the dynamic team.
Project Manager Overview As a Project Manager, you will oversee the construction of commerical builds from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Projects will range from smaller complex builds to larger builds upto 30m.
Project Manager Responsibilities
Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed
To be invloved with projects from Tender through to completion
To write and review the programme of works
To work closely with subcontractors and maintain quality control
To work closely with all members of the site delivery team and proactively drive communication and problem solving
To organise & control the construction of development in accordance with the specification provided
To ensure construction complies with all statutory authorities
To establish good working relationships subcontractors to ensure timely connections
To establish and maintain good relationships with the Client
Prepare material take offs and schedule
Work closely to adhere to all the site wide rules that are implemented
Handover completed scheme to client on time, to agreed quality standard and budget
Project Manager Requirements
A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in managing construction projects circa 10m in Education, Accomodation and commercial schemes.
Experience Bids, Porgramming and management of Design would be beneficial.
Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential. First Aid, CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card, and other relevant qualifications are desirable.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
