WHAT TO EXPECT

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated IT/Digital Project Manager and an integral member of the Information & Cyber Security Team.

As an experienced IT/Digital Project Manager, with Cyber experience, you will manage existing and new project teams to deliver approved projects within the Portfolio.

Depending on size and complexity, this role will work across different projects simultaneously. You will need to manage your time effectively and prioritise tasks to deliver the desired outcomes.

You’ll also be responsible for the following:

• Managing and leading project resources, ensuring projects are delivered to required timescales, quality and cost.
• Reporting on projects in line with Jaguar Land Rover delivery methodology and Portfolio Management processes.
• Partnering with relevant internal functions/stakeholders ensuring that all project deliverables are met.
• Working with Product Managers to understand where changes in technology can be introduced and included in projects.
• Planning project pipelines, reviewing/approving project artefacts, ensuring an aligned and agreed handover.
• Managing the application of required Governance, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, financial reporting and risk and issue management.
• Managing adherence to Operational Acceptance processes ensuring timely delivery into Service Delivery.
• Managing third-party suppliers.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

To be successful in the role you will need the following skills and experience:

• Significant experience managing IT/Digital change projects with track record of delivery.
• Proven experience of stakeholder management at all levels.
• A methodical, detailed approach to work context.
• Strong analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions, using support or own knowledge base.
• Ability to manage significant risks and issues.
• Be an excellent communicator.
• Proven supplier management skills.
• Commercially astute thinking.
• Ability to work to tight timescales.
• Negotiation skills and adaptability.
• A recognised project management qualification.
• Cyber Security experience/qualifications.
• Proven delivery using Agile and Waterfall.
