We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Midlands division. This exciting role offers the opportunity to manage a range of construction and refurbishment projects, from £10k to £1.5m, across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, with experience handling all aspects of construction from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery: Manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, from enquiry through to completion.
Site Management: Conduct site surveys, progress meetings, inductions, and handovers, while travelling nationwide as required.
Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and providing regular updates on project progress and risks.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with Health & Safety and environmental standards, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
Reporting: Provide regular internal and external reports on project progress, risks, and deliverables.
Tendering: Use engineering drawings and specifications to produce competitive tenders.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction/refurbishment, with a comprehensive understanding of building works.
Qualifications:
SMSTS certification (required)
Valid CSCS card
IT proficient, especially in MS Office; MS Projects experience is a plus.
Driving License: A valid UK driving license is required due to the nationwide nature of the role.
