Job Opportunity: Project Manager

Location: Home-based but travelling to different sites across the Country (Ideally Midlands)
Salary: Competitive
Contract Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Midlands division. This exciting role offers the opportunity to manage a range of construction and refurbishment projects, from £10k to £1.5m, across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, with experience handling all aspects of construction from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Delivery: Manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, from enquiry through to completion.
• Site Management: Conduct site surveys, progress meetings, inductions, and handovers, while travelling nationwide as required.
• Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and providing regular updates on project progress and risks.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with Health & Safety and environmental standards, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
• Reporting: Provide regular internal and external reports on project progress, risks, and deliverables.
• Tendering: Use engineering drawings and specifications to produce competitive tenders.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction/refurbishment, with a comprehensive understanding of building works.
• Qualifications:
  • SMSTS certification (required)
  • Valid CSCS card
  • IT proficient, especially in MS Office; MS Projects experience is a plus.
• Driving License: A valid UK driving license is required due to the nationwide nature of the role.
