Poolhall Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading PLC civil engineering & construction company based in the Manchester area.
The project engineer will be tasked with managing the internal support functions and sub-contracting supply chain partners who work with United Utilities/Severn Trent Water.
The role supports the project delivery teams by managing concept development and detailed design solutions based on client and site-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Attend site meetings and client meetings
Participate in VE, R&O, and feasibility studies
Work with the project manager to coordinate the design through the ECI Phase
Assist in writing ITTs
Meet Stakeholders
Organise multiple trades supply chain and designers
Issue draft drawings internally and to clients
Document control
Help transition from ECI & detailed design phase to project delivery team
Procurement schedule input
Ensuring delivery teams are aware of Handover requirements
Collation and co-ordination of H&S file
Handover of all documents required for the next phase.
Attend post-project review meetings
Qualifications and Experience:
Good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management.
Have a level of planning experience using Primavera P6 software or equivalent
CSCS manager s card
Ability to challenge issues and resolve problems to a conclusion
Experience working in some capacity as Management for a Civil Engineering project.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation regarding safe work practices.
SSSTS / SMSTS.
