Look no further! I am working with this fanstic high end independant practice in Bath. They are recognised as a fashion brand as well as a high end optical practice. They have a 360 model from manufacturing their own frames- to doing solely private eye tests, to dispensing quality lenses and frames.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

” Undertake 40 minute eye tests and contact lens assessments and have a professional handover to ensure the clients receive the best products for their needs and all the appropriate suggestions and recommendations are passed on.
” Working with a team of 3 to make sure patients have the best experience/service
” Working within a single test room practice; Trial frames, Phoropter and OCT with 40 minute test slots and doing your own pre-testing,
” Working hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10am – 6pm, however flex on days and alternate Saturdays are available.

Requirements for the Optometrist

” The role requires you be GOC registered with full CET accreditations completed.
” A 40 minute testing time.
” An advantage would be to hold certificates for extended services such as MECS etc. but not essential.
” Experience of working in an independent environment would be an advantage but not essential as is more a willingness to be a part of a new team with all aspects of working in opticians covered. They are situated in a busy part of the city with good footfall. The company offers a wide selection of high-end products and services and more important this is not a hard sell environment.

Compensation for the Optometrist

” On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of £65,000+ competitive bonus of up to £800 per quarter- dependent on experience with professional fees paid and 33 days holiday.
