I am working with a food manufacturing company who are looking for a proactive and efficient Operations Administrator to support the administration for the pack house operation.
The ideal candidate will be a confident user of Microsoft Office, possess excellent communication and man-management skills, and ideally have experience in busy manufacturing industry.
Day to day of the role as an Operations Administartor:
Efficiently receive orders and organise transport for all orders.
Manage spreadsheets for orders, ensuring accurate pallet counts and stock allocation.
Handle incoming calls and direct information to relevant staff, including orders, arrivals, collections, and visitor management.
Prepare delivery notes for each order and ensure all details are correct
Request and verify PO numbers and arrival information for incoming goods.
Liaise with the Technical team regarding order of use, especially during the Import season.
Receive and process weekly/monthly provisional orders, and daily updates during the UK season.
Inform customers about any shortages, late deliveries, or collections.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Operations Administrator:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including excel
Experience working within an Administrative role
Strong communicative skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Benefits & Extras of the Operations Administartor:
£27000-£33000 salary (based on experience)
40 hours per week (8hr days) During busy summer times the shift rotation will be between 7-7 (only work 8 hours but start earlier or finish later) during less busy times hours are 8-5.
There will also be a requirement to potentially work 1 day a weekend every few weeks (day off in lieu in return)
