Network Solution Architect (Presales) – £580/day via Umbrella – 2 months – Birmingham (Hybrid) – SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We are seeking a talented and experienced Presales Network Solution Architect to join our specialist team of client-facing professionals.

Your Responsibilities as the Network Solution Architect for this project:

• Collaborate with the team to identify and qualify professional services opportunities early in the sales cycle.
• Work with account and service management teams to uncover opportunities within existing accounts.
• Engage directly with clients to understand their business challenges and translate them into technical requirements.
• Advise clients on technology choices and options, acting as a single point of contact for technical presales engagements.
• Develop customer proposals, statements of work (SoW), cost models, and define proof of concept engagements.
• Support sales and bid teams in completing bid responses, including RFIs, RFPs, and PQQs.
• Ensure smooth handover of presales opportunities to delivery teams, providing clarity on the proposed solution and implementation approach.

As the right Presales Network Solution A rchitect, you will have:

• Presales experience.
• Networking vendors: Cisco, Juniper, HPE Aruba, Fortinet
• Proven experience in preparing proposals, statements of work, and cost models.
• Proficiency with networking vendor pricing tools such as CCW and Iris.
• Ability to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, including board-level stakeholders.
• Broad knowledge of networking technologies, including:
  • Campus LAN switching and wireless solutions
  • Datacentre switching
  • Access LAN and edge security (eg, MX, Zscaler)
  • Large scale enterprise network refresh
  • RAS and next-generation Firewall
  • Cloud security and SASE
• Successful track record of driving pipeline and service development initiatives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to lead strategic discussions.
