Holiday Camp Early Years Lead – Leading Children’s Play and Sport Provision Company

Monday to Friday – Up to 40 hours a week available (8:30am – 5:30pm)

Level 3 childcare qualification or higher required
We are looking for exceptionally talented early year leads to join the team in Sevenoaks. This particular site has multiple areas to it and beautiful grounds along with a separate area for their nursery. The summer camp offers children the opportunity to excel and explore with their friends, surrounded by outstanding facilities such as sports halls, outdoor courts, playgrounds, and art classes.
The perfect candidate we are looking for is someone who is passionate about working with children, has experience in planning and delivering activities, and feels confident working in a team to provide amazing experiences and help build brighter futures for young people and their families.
In this role as an Early Years Lead, you will have overall responsibility for the management of the EYFS programme and any key children at your provision. You will plan programmes and lessons effectively within the company structure, monitor progress, inspire children, and deliver effective and efficient activities.
As an Early Years Lead, you will need to bring:
– A Passion for Working with Early Years Children – we’re looking for someone to provide inclusive, fun, and engaging provision for the children in your care, while inspiring them to explore their interests – Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills – you will be responsible with the planning and delivery of activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range of activities, including multi-sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play – Responsibility and Reliability – the safety and enjoyment of the children in your care will be your key responsibility. All team members are required to follow specific policies and procedures, including completing Accident and Incident Forms and Health & Safety checks as needed, and the children and families also benefit from consistently reliable staff – Communication and Engagement – all staff are expected to conduct themselves professionally and communicate effectively with all team members, parents, children and schools on a daily basis.
