Job Summary

Swanstaff are looking for a dependable Class 2 Driver to join our client in Dartford.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport luxuary goods and materials to various locations
• Load and unload cargo securely
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections for mechanical and safety issues

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Class 2 or delivery driver
• Valid CPC and tacho card
• Understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws
• Physically capable of loading and unloading cargo
• Strong communication and customer service skills

About Us

Our client has a fleet of 26-ton rigids and have a mix of experienced drivers, young and old.

New hires undergo a two-week training program, paired with an experienced driver. The client provides a company mobile, truck-specific sat nav, a smart uniform, PPE, and secure on-site parking.

The deliveries span across the UK, offering a varied workday and the opportunity to travel beyond local routes. Start and finish times vary, with early starts more common between 4am – 6am.

We understand drivers have many opportunities in the UK, so our client offer competitive pay with a solid base salary, daily overtime, and a generous annual bonus. You ll also receive:

Pay: £30,000 – £33,000 per year
