Estimator / QS

Within our organization, Estimators / Quantity Surveyors are pivotal in leading operational teams and overseeing commercial aspects related to the facade package. They carry the full responsibility of developing and executing pre and post-contract strategies, managing commercial functions, and providing thorough contract reporting. The Estimators / Quantity Surveyors actively collaborate with clients and industry specialists, placing a strong emphasis on added value, commercial viability, compliance, and best practices.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Estimator / QS role, located in Dartford office but with flexibility for some remote work. The Estimator / QS will be responsible for analysing architectural drawings, scopes of work, and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates for cladding projects. This role requires excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate completion of project estimates.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying or estimating in the construction & cladding industry
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction estimating software
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of cladding materials and installation processes
• Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
