Engineering Project Manager

Selexa are partnered exclusively with a leading engineering technology client specialising in the semiconductor and microscopy sector.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to support the Programme Management function, playing a pivotal role in the delivery of full product lifecycle projects from concept through to delivery and handover.

You will be responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining project plans
• Keep individual project documentation up to date with accuracy, revise accordingly and amend as project develops
• Work with Senior Programme Manager to identify conflicts, as well as prioritise projects as per business requirement
• Work closely with the technical leaders across the business
• Provide regular updates to technical leaders and SLT
• Ensure internal and external project documents are maintained, and stored appropriately within Management System
• Ensure project resource requirements align with company resources in terms of people, product, and test

Education, Qualifications, and Skills:

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, and similar Scientific Discipline
• Suitable Project Management qualifications (Prince 2, APMP etc)
• 13 years previous project management experience
• Ability to analyse complex problems, interpret business needs and develop solutions, whilst prioritising effective resolutions
• Excellent communication skills to present to colleagues and Senior Management
• Ideally have experience of working in multidisciplinary teams whilst managing projects concurrently
• Ideally experienced of working with complex systems ie. mechanical, electronics, software, optics etc
