Electrical Engineer Position Overview

My client are a leading environmental services company in the South East offering liquid waste disposal, equipment for hire, treatment systems and pump sales.

They are currently looking for a field based Electrical Engineer (or multi skilled) who will be responsible for attending domestic and industrial client sites to carry out general repairs, investigations, diagnostics and rectifying faults with support from the wider engineering team.

The work will be varied and predominantly based in the South East (Kent, London, Essex, Sussex and Hampshire).

Electrical Engineer Position Requirements

• Full Driving License (Essential)
• Appropriate City & Guilds and/or NVQ3 Qualification (Essential for Electrical)
• Approved JIB Status (Desirable)
• C&G Confined Space Trained (Desirable)
• First Aid at Work (Desirable)
• Punctual and reliable
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation and procedures
• Good Numeracy and literacy skills
• Prepared to take responsibility for self and others
• Good communication skills
• Able to work on own initiative
• Ability to problem solve and fault finding
• Working knowledge of industrial mechanical control systems, telemetry systems, pumps, gearboxes, general mechanical plant and equipment
• Water Industry/Industrial background

Electrical Engineer Position Remuneration

• £17.50- £18.50
• Annual leave 20 days plus bank holidays
