Our client has a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple expansive projects across various locations in the UK and Europe. They have established themselves as one of the fastest growing M&E construction firms in the mission critical sector. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Project Manager to take on large scale M&E design and build projects in Derby.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of projects. You will be initially implementing QA/QC processes for the electrical fit-out of a food manfuacturing facility in Derby.

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensuring all activities adhere to Integrated Management Systems standards.
• Overseeing site QA/QC procedures and preparing detailed reports.
• Providing input for weekly progress reports.
• Coordinating and reviewing drawings as needed.
• Offering technical guidance to subcontracted staff.
• Facilitating the resolution of technical queries to advance electrical installations.
• Enforcing compliance with site and project requirements, emphasising operational health and safety.
• Applying troubleshooting techniques to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintaining up-to-date document control, including logs.
• Compiling handover packs and test packs for systems.
• Assisting in identifying and adhering to compliance and governance matters, particularly related to health & safety and subcontractor performance.

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Previous construction experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar capacity.
• Relevant qualifications in the field.
• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
