In the heart of Dartford an ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School are on the hunt for a DT Teacher – Director of Learning for an April or September 2025 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract. This school is part of one of the best Trusts within the whole of London and recently invested heavily into the DT Department, adding brand new, state of the art equipment such as 3D printers.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious DT Teacher – Director of Learning who is keen to take their DT Department to new heights. The School is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The School are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It’s an exciting time at the School!

• TLR Opportunities: Director or Co-ordinator of Learning for DT
• ECTs welcome: The school have also said they are willing to take on ECT’s for other DT positions
• April / September 2025 – Full Time & Permanent
• MPS5-UPS3 + Director of Learning TLR
• Located in the Borough of Dartford

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level
• You must be able to work as part of a large team of Design Technology (DT) Teachers
• Must be willing to listen to feedback
