What is the purpose of role?
To be an active team member ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with a daily work schedule. As a Production Team Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that information received is communicated to the appropriate parties in a timely, effective manner developing and sustaining effective customer relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will direct a productive, results driven team ensuring that all compliance standards are met.
Who you will deal with:
Internal: Senior Manager, Team Managers, Shift Leaders, Bond and Flight employees, other units, Central Services Team at Manchester, support functions, Operations Manager/ Flight Services/ General Manager.
External: Airlines, HMC&E, DFT, auditors, contractors, EHO

What is Special about the role:
The main focus of the role of Team Manager is to effectively organise resources to deliver the required activity each shift. Direction and guidance is easily accessible via the line manager. No direct budget management but requires people management on a shift-by-shift basis. Decision making is based on previous experience working within standard parameters highlighting any concerns to be addressed by a manager. Will be required to interact with the team, colleagues from other process areas, auditors, Suppliers and customers
