Machine Operative

We are recruiting for a CNC Machine Operative to join a specialised manufacturer in Ross on Wye. The successful candidate will come from a hands-on background, willing to learn new skills, and ideally possess existing experience within a technical role, manufacturing, or machine operating role.

What you can expect:

• 14.30 per hour including shift allowance
• Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm, rotating weekly
• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• A brand-new manufacturing facility

What you will be doing:

• Operating and management of CNC production machinery
• Following company SOP’s and health & safety requirements
• Work and communicate with other members of the team to ensure efficient handover
• Communicating with Shift coordinators and Leaders to ensure they are aware of any issues in your designated area
• Ensure production data is recorded properly
• Housekeeping of work areas
• Ensure any production waste is discarded in the correct manner

What we are looking for:

• Prior machine operating experience would be advantageous candidates with CNC experience are encouraged to apply
• A hands-on background
• Highly motivated and willing to learn new skills
• IT literate, CNC programming
