Due to the recent acquisition of new contracts this water treatment/hygiene company are looking to recruit a hard-working and reliable Water Hygiene Engineer based in or around the London. The successful candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of ACOP L8 and experience delivering a wide range of water hygiene duties to a varied site base. Applications from Romford, Dartford, Watford, Harlow and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Experience in the role of a water hygiene engineer.
Holding an NVQ level 2 or higher in plumbing would be advantageous.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fully conversant with the water treatment industry and legislations.
Competent in using the Microsoft office package.

Role:

Monitor the client’s air and water systems to ensure they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
Undertake temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
Install and maintain dosing systems.
Inspection and Disinfection of CWST.
Servicing TMVs, shower cleans, tank cleans etc.
