The leading bespoke private water supply company in the UK is currently looking for a Trainee Project Manager due to further growth. Along with a salary of up to £32,000 per annum, you will also receive a workplace pension scheme, holiday entitlement which increases with length of service, access to the internal training programme, a mobile phone and access to a commercial work vehicle. The main purpose of the role is the efficient management of sales enquiries, costings, design, installation, completion, commissioning, servicing, and handover to client of private water treatment works, thereby ensuring the effective delivery and operation of the business. As Trainee Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Handling new enquiries as allocated
• Assisting with the management of the routine annual servicing programme for existing clients
• Growing the business by effective and professional handling of new enquiries, both referred and self-generated
• Providing excellent customer service and foster client relationships from a perspective of safety, quality, and growth
• Carrying out site visits, preparation of quotes, manage both company and client expectation
• Liaising with colleagues to identify most effective solution
• Planning and monitoring installation and service delivery standards
• Preparing authoritative Reports

We are looking for a Trainee Project Manager who has the following skills and experience:

• Educated to degree level or have a proven track record, preferably in private water treatment/pumps and controls/similar technical discipline
• Have an understanding of water filtration and treatment works
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Good communication and leadership skills
• The ability to work under pressure
• Ambition and drive to achieve results
• Sound judgement and decision-making skills
• To be a highly organised team member
• The ability to rely upon experience in negotiating and problem resolution
• To be ready and willing to develop within the organisation

The role is based out of their Nairn office. Allowing that the nature of the business model is client-focussed, frequent travel for site visits and project development throughout Scotland and the UK, will be required on a routine basis.
