Morrison Water Services are committed to helping Thames Water achieve their leakage targets for 2021 and beyond.
Did you know?
When a smart meter has been installed and is transmitting data, Thames Water are able to identify if there’s a leak through the recording of continual usage. Thames Water are now using data from over 400,000 smart meters that are consistently providing them with better information about water use at all types of properties. Using data in ways like this has helped to prevent over 21 Ml/d of leakage since the start of April 2020!

As a Trainee Plumber you will have the opportunity to work on behalf of Thames Water installing of Smart Meters on Single meters on domestic properties and non-household (Commercial) You will be based out of the Depo in Dartford but be required to travel in and around the entire London area.
In order to be considered for this programme you need to be available on February 10th 2022 between 9am and 3pm to attend a mini assessment centre in Dartford.
As part of the application process you will be required to complete a video interview. This must be completed in order to be considered for the role.
You will be fully trained by gaining a basic plumbing qualification with City and Guilds with fantastic earning potential. There is a career for life with in the Water industry – and so many avenues you can take, why not come and see for yourself what you can achieve?
All we ask of you is to bring your enthusiasm to work, be able to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety legislation. You will need to be able to use mobile applications.
You will be representing Thames Water and Morrison Water Services whilst carrying out your role and be able to communicate with members of the public, so bring a smile to work.
The role will be varying and you’ll be required to work outdoors in all weathers and inside customers’ homes. You will be required to walk and stand on uneven ground. You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
Have a passion for customer service and satisfaction
Flexible with excellent communication skills
A full UK drivers license – Maximum Three Points – Manual licence preferred.
A desire to learn, and a great attitude to work.Additional Information:
£10.40 per hour whilst you’re training, and then £12.49
Regular overtime available
A performance related bonus scheme
A fully expensed van with fuel card (Business use only)
All tools and equipment
You may be required to be on call, in which case you are paid £125 per week, plus your hourly rate if called out.
You will be required to work weekends on a shifted rota
