Position Overview: As a Technology Sales Specialist, you will help shape the industry as we advance on the journey to connected and automated sites.
You will play a pivotal role in a team that is driving the adoption and sales of our technology solutions, with ownership for closing sales and winning business across the spectrum of products and subscription platforms. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and understanding their unique needs. You will also offer tailored technology solutions to address their challenges in digital-data-driven decisions, safety solutions, and innovation with semi-autonomy and remote control operations.
Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
Properly identifying sales opportunities through customer-facing time, delivering technology solutions, either in isolation or as part of the wider deal in collaboration with the wider sales team.
Delivering value propositions with a clear set of KPIs around technology units sold (command, DSS, Grade, etc.) Focus on upselling premium subscriptions through the use of demonstrations, case studies and field-based trials.
Stakeholder management & relationship development. Create a network of influencers both internally and externally to raise the profile and success of the technology portfolio.

Education & Experience:
Demonstrated success in technology sales roles, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Preferably within the construction or heavy equipment industry.
Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of the plant hire, construction, demolition, waste, and quarry industries, including familiarity with industry trends, challenges, and technology needs.
Educated to degree level
5 + years experience in a customer facing role, solution selling, technology, engineering, construction, digital.
This is a home-based role that requires regular travel to customer sites and industry events. We are open to receiving applications from the Cannock, Leeds, Ashford, or Bristol locations.
