Firmin Recruit are delighted to be working with our established pharmaceutical client based near Dartford, Kent. Our client has being going since 1961 and are based in over 40 global locations with sixteen manufacturing facilities. Due to business demands Firmin Recruit are working with our client to recruit a Supply Chain Assistant on a contract basis until June 30th, 2025.

This role is a contract role until June 30th, 2025

The Role:

• To provide daily administration support to the Supply Chain Department
• Participate in and support CI activities and initiatives
• To carry out all duties in line with the Company’s Quality Assurance Policy
• Booking Purchase Orders and manage the bookings of purchase orders into European and UK warehouse and release goods through Oracle system
• Prepare Packing Instructions
• Raising Service Requests for the European & UK Warehouse and communicate these to suppliers
• Manage late delivers
• Additional duties as agreed with the Distribution Supply Manager

Suitable Candidate:

• The suitable candidate will need to have experience with MRP & Raw material supply planning, Inventory management , and inter departmental communications
• The successful candidate will need to have previous Supply Chain experience.
• Strong time management and good communication skills
• Good IT and stock management experience is necessary.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week between 8 am – 5pm

Salary: 25,000 per year ( pro
