Role: Site Manager

Hours: Night Shifts for 3 weeks

Rate: 300 – 400 per day

An opportunity for a Site Manager to manage the night shift works on a site in Dover beginning on Tuesday 8th October.

This role is a project on a live road, overseeing the installation of a canopy (structural works) that are commencing. The main contractor has specialist subcontractors in to conduct the works, but they require a point of contact on site during the night shift.

You would be working for the main contractor as the Site Manager for the night shifts during hours 7pm until 7am.

What you will need:

You will have experience in a similar role, leading a site as the number 1 on site
Experience working for a main contractor within the civils or structural engineering/ road / infrastructure sectors
Have in date SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid. Fire Marshall would be a plus.

Your duties will include but are not limited to

Day to day supervision and co-ordination of on-site staff, subcontractors, plant and materials
Build and maintain good relations with staff, clients and subcontractors
Work to Construction Programmes ensuring production targets are achieved, whilst maintaining safety and quality whilst effectively finding solutions to any issues that may cause delays
Coordinate and lead site meetings where required
Maintain strict quality control procedures and conduct regular site safety checks

This is a freelance position and would be paid CIS or Limited company whatever is preferred. Pay is weekly one week in arrears.
