About the Role

As an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production machinery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing planned preventative maintenance to avoid unexpected downtime.
• Reacting quickly and effectively to address breakdowns and minimise disruption.
• Conducting fault diagnosis and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing the performance, safety, and reliability of equipment.
• Working closely with the production team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What you Bring

Technical Expertise: Strong skills in electrical systems and a sound understanding of mechanical systems, enabling you to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of issues.

• Qualifications: An electrical qualification such as an apprenticeship, HNC, HND, ONC, or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven track record in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG.
• Health and Safety Awareness: Comprehensive knowledge of safety standards and their application in maintenance activities.
• Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
