I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager with a background in Quantity Surveying to join an succesful House Builder based in Kent. This opportunity would suit a Project Manager with knowledge of Quantity Surveying who is highly ambitious and looking to take the next step in their career. The company that the most successful individual would be working for have recently won a number of large Construction awards and they have a respectable name within the industry. To work for this established House Builder, it would be advantageous if you had a background with a House Builder or Residential developments.

The ideal Senior QS/PM for this role will be working on projects in the country many of the projects are based in Surrey, West Sussex, Kent and surrounding areas, the ideal candidate for this position will be flexible and happy to travel as well as complete work in the offices based in Kent.

Senior Qs/Project Manager Background Position Overview

* Read, understand and comply with the procedures as set out for the Building Department.
* ensure quotations are received such that a proper comparison of the quotations can be prepared.
* In compiling such comparisons resolve all queries with the subcontractors to enable an accurate recommendation to be made to the Contracts Manager.
* Arranging pre-commissioning, feasibility studies and reports
* Arranging tender documentation, contractors and feedback monitoring

Senior Qs/Project Manager Background Position Requirements

* Experience with a House Builder previously
* Ambition to work for an excellent award winning company
* Previous experience in both Project Management and Quantity Surveying
* Degree or similar in Construction (advantageous)
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.

* Salary £65K-£80K+ (Salary will be negotiated further for suitable candidate)
