Here at Randstad we are recruiting for Senior Quantity Surveyor in Tonbridge, Kent.

This role is working for an industry leading developer, working across large multiphase schemes in Kent.

Duties:

Attend development, pre-start and subcontract meetings
Checking all contract drawings to identify areas where unnecessary cost may arise
Assist in the preparation of proposed tender lists and updating procurement programmes
Distribute design information packages and tender drawings
Prepare construction cost analysis
Assess site staffing levels and build programmes with the Construction Director to ascertain preliminary costs
Prepare stage payment schedules to assist in the financing of the works
Pre-order meetings including all necessary Health & Safety requirements, finalising a tender sum and agreeing a stage payment schedule
Issue variation orders and development changes alongside
Revise contract drawings to subcontractors
Check all costs posted to each contract, collate and reconcile all costs resulting from subcontract works, variation orders, etc
Place subcontractor orders and arrange payments
