Senior Project Manager – BMS

What you will do:

The BMS Senior Project Manager role will be responsible for all aspects project delivery within their designated region, from undertaking sales to operations handovers, supply chain engagement, engineering management right through to project handover and post completion support. This is a varied role, that will offer a different working day one to the next, and will work alongside the customer, account management and project engineering teams.

How you will do it:

Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors

Undertake a sales handover to interpret and understand the scope of works

Overall responsibility for the health, safety and environmental management of all projects within your portfolio

Provide direction, control and implementation of projects

Be responsible for the commercial performance of the project

Monitor, review and report on the progress

Provide regular reports to project leadership

Undertake risk reviews

Maintains relevant professional certifications and licenses

Mentor and Develop junior members of the team

What we look for

Required:

Min. 5 Year’s project management experience in the construction industry, with experience in BMS and control systems

Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word & Project

Experience working on large projects, with a track record for delivery. Typical projects will be £2-£3M in value

Comfortable working as part of a team, managing remote resource

Strong financial and commercial acumen

Preferred:

Experience working within Datacentres / critical infrastructure environments

High Level BMS knowledge with key understanding of engineering principals
