About the role of Senior Estimator

Fawkes and Reece are currently working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor who are actively looking for a Senior Estimator. They are currently working on projects that are worth around 100M plus. They are seeking a Senior Estimator to join their busy pre-construction team that would work on Major Projects in the London area.

Responsibilities for Senior Estimator

The role is suitable for an Estimator looking for the opportunity to step into a senior role or an established Senior Estimator. You will report directly to the Estimating Director and your duties will include.

• Assessments of potential projects all prior to tender reviews and submission of quotations.
• Preparing tender documents.
• Dealing with subcontract quotations.
• Managing the production of the tender costs in consultation with the project planner, design manager and bid manager allocated to the project.
• Handover of successful tender information that the site teams are suitably briefed.

Requirements for Senior Estimator

• Good understanding of first principles.
• Experience working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
• Experience working in several different sectors.
• Experience tendering on 100m plus projects.
• Previous experience having worked as an Estimator.
