An exciting opportunity has arisen for aSenior Accountant, to join the Finance Team of one of the worlds leading specialist audio brands, KEF. The role is based in our Maidstone office in Kent.
This is a European role based in the Maidstone office, Kent. Hybrid working is available after the first six months service to ensure successful onboarding and integration into the team and company.
Responsibilities include:

• Daily all-rounded accounting and financial operations including full set of accounts, AR/AP/GL, intercompany reconciliation,
• Bank and cashflow planning, inventory, receivables, fixed assets management and credit review of customers
• Ensure compliance of financial records in accordance with policy and procedures
• Perform month-end closing, management reporting and quarterly reporting packages and schedules to holding company ensuring all reporting istimely, complete, and accurate.
• Monthly forecasting and assist in annual budgeting – administering and maintaining system budgetary tracking
• Variance analysis of the financial performance of the business units against budget and forecast
• Liaise with bank and handle all bank issues
• Working closely with business units and stakeholders providing support with finance and accounting operations
• Assist in strengthening control issues and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Liaising with Head Office and the wider Finance team based in Hong Kong
• Supporting on-going and ad-hoc projects including new system implementation

You will have:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business relevant disciplines or equivalent; Member of recognized accounting bodies preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience; preferably in sales distribution, wholesale and retail business
• Strong business acumen and excellent analytical, reporting and business control skills
• Independent, self-motivated, pro-active and good interpersonal and influence skills to work with and manage internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in excel skill and ERP System knowledge, experience in SAP, Cognos & Power BI will be added advantage
• Flexible with a good understanding of the demands of working in a fast paced international environment.
• Resilient with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Good command of both spoken and written English. Chinese (Cantonese) is preferred as an additional language.
