Are you looking for a Security Officer position, working for a well-known client in Central London?

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join our nights team, working from Monday to Friday 20:30 – 07:30 (55 hours per week). This will be earning £14.21 per hour.

This role will be to work in a well known building, delivering high-end security services and working in a professional capacity at all times.

Your Time at Work
Patrol floors, monitoring access and activity.
Act as Fire Marshal and First Aider, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to medical situations until emergency services arrive.
With assistance from Document Services or In-House Security Team, retrieve requested personnel belongings from offices.
Assist in investigations of security related incidents to resolve and prevent recurrence.
Provide brief daily shift handover report to Receptionists and full daily report, via e-mail to Facilities Team.
Carry out CCTV and Access Control checks and log Access Control faults with Access Control Team
Identify vulnerabilities by conducting dynamic risk assessments, e.g. spot checks to perimeter access doors.
Assist in the coordination of security services for special out of hours functions or assignments such as management of guests and employee escorts.
Provide investigation/Incident reports to management.
Collect, test and handover all new and replacement access passes.
Retrieve and test lone worker Panic Alarms monthly.
To keep abreast (through information provided by client) out of hours contractor activity, e.g. Fire Safety system services and check-in with contractors/engineers where necessary.

Our Perfect Worker
Corporate security experience is essential.
Over a years experience in the security industry.
SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License is required.
Good IT knowledge.
Experience in liaising with high-end customers.
Great communication skills, verbally and written.

Key Information and Benefits
£14.21 per hour
22.4 days leave per year, with the option of accruing additional days leave from overtime worked (up to a maximum of 28 days).
