Security Officer

We are hiring a security officer to work at the designing and manufacturing site in Fareham with at least 1 year of experience in the security sector. Must hold a valid SIA licence. Duty will be a 12-hour shift for both day and night, Monday to Sunday. The pay rate is £12.00 per hour. Bank holidays will be paid at double time rates.

The job responsibilities of the Security Officer are:

• Flexibility with shifts as this role will include working days and nights, Monday – Sunday
• Opening and closing of the building.
• Carry out patrols to deter or report any form of vandalism.
• Supervise access and key management – issue to staff and contractors.
• To ensure all Security Incident/Loss/Accident Reports are completed before shift handover.
• To assess and report potential safety hazards so that remedial action may be taken.
• Excellent customer service skills are highly desirable.
• Have a polite and professional attitude to internal and external customers.
• To escort visitors as and when required.
• The ability to work independently or as a team.
• Must be computer literate.
• Excellent level of English both written and spoken.
• Any other duties as required.
• PPE provided.
