A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join a well-known name on the Fresh Produce UK market based on the outskirts of Canterbury.

Basic salary offered is (phone number removed) (based on 48 hours per week – 16.14 per hour ) and OT rate 20.17 for anything over 48 hours per week

The working hours are any 5 out of 7 on rotation, 06.30 to 18.30

Responsibilities

• Ensure agreed standards of quality and food safety are achieved.
• Responsible for ensuring there is a comprehensive HACCP system implemented and maintain
• Review QMS and Internal audits
• Assist in delivery of site standards for visits and audits
• Coordinate non-conformance findings
• Root cause analysis , corrective actions
• Ensure products are evaluated against specification
• Plan and manage the QA team to meet requirements
• Other related tasks as per business requirements

The candidate will have

• Experience in a similar role
• Auditing Experience / BRC Knowledge
• Management experience / leadership skills
• Good communication and motivational skills
• Attention to details
