Pump & Treatment Installation Engineer

Our client, a leading company in the water industry, is currently seeking a Pump & Treatment Installation Engineer to join their team. This permanent role involves the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of pump and water treatment installations. The role is mobile, based out of a home depot, and requires travel to various customer sites and depots.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and handover pump and temporary water treatment setups within the covered region for major construction and utilities projects
• Provide customer training and remote/on-site support, including troubleshooting and writing and sharing reports on the status of equipment
• Support the sales team in winning projects both short and long term
• Provide handover to regional depots on specific projects
• Assist in the creation of job-specific work instructions, method statements, and risk assessments to facilitate efficient and safe working practices
• Undertake on-site routine maintenance of water treatment equipment and any major upgrades/refurbishments in depot
• Travel and occasional overnight stays will be required (travel time paid with the exception of the first and last 30 minutes of the day)
• Check and tag all equipment, maintain service records, and ensure best safe working practices are adhered to

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the installation of pumps and/or water treatment is essential
• Mechanical and electro-mechanical skills
• CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable
• Driver’s licence essential
• Flexible attitude to suit changing needs of the region
• Above-average fitting abilities and problem-solving skills
