Pump & Treatment Installation Engineer NEW

Our client, operating in the water treatment sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Pump & Treatment Installation Engineer to join their team in Derby. This is an exciting permanent role that involves installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting pump and water treatment temporary installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and handover pump & temporary water treatment setups for major construction & utilities projects within the region.
• Provide customer training and remote/on-site support, including troubleshooting, and writing reports on the status of equipment.
• Support the sales team to secure both short & long-term projects.
• Assist in the creation of job-specific work instructions, method statements & risk assessments for efficient and safe working practices.
• Undertake routine on-site maintenance and major upgrades/refurbishment of water treatment equipment in the depot.
• Regular travel and overnight stays are required, with travel time accounted for (excluding the first and last 30 minutes of the day).
• Check and tag all equipment, maintain service records, and ensure the availability of products and accessories.
• Adhere to customer Health & Safety rules and report all incidents/accidents.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the installation of pumps and/or water treatment equipment is essential.
• CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable.
• Must possess a valid driving licence.
• Flexibility to meet the changing needs of the region.
• Above average fitting abilities and strong problem-solving skills.

Performance Indicators:

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented vehicle and workspace.
• Accurate recording of work carried out, parts used, and stock control.
• High quality and quantity of equipment serviced and repaired.
• Successful completion and customer satisfaction of installations.
