Our client is an award-winning, independent company, known for their practical and inspirational titles. They are seeking a creative and highly organised individual to join their Marketing Team. As a Publicity Executive, you will play a vital role in promoting their list and driving sales.

Responsibilities:

• Research, develop, and maintain strong relationships with authors, reviewers, influencers, journalists, and bloggers
• Secure and maximise coverage and reviews across relevant print and online media
• Manage and utilise our PR database effectively
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Show familiarity with InDesign and Photoshop, or have the aptitude to learn and use them effectively
• Assist in organising and promoting author events
• Possess exceptional attention to detail
• Analyse campaign effectiveness and contribute to the development of future Publicity Strategies
• Collaborate with other members of the Marketing team to share ideas and plans

Requirements:

• Experience as a publicist is advantageous, but candidates with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn on the job will also be considered
• An interest in marketing / publishing will be essential. If you have a qualification in marketing or similar and/or experience working in marketing we would like to hear from you
