Project Manager at Heathrow Airport 15 month project, Outside or Inside IR35 £525 per day

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our Tranche 5 project, a critical component of Heathrow’s new T2 Baggage Handling System.

As the Tranche 5 Project Manager, you’ll spearhead the delivery of non-baggage infrastructure essential for the new T2 Baggage Handling System.

You’ll be the driving force behind a complex project that spans design, manufacture, supply, installation, commissioning, integration, and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all stages of the project lifecycle, enhancing Heathrow’s project capabilities
• Manage package managers across multiple disciplines
• Develop optimal construction sequences with Tier 1 suppliers and the client
• Oversee construction of CSA elements and MEPh systems across multiple levels
• Manage creation of new structural openings and service diversions
• Lead construction of a new external link bridge, including cladding
• Champion safety initiatives across all design and site delivery aspects
• Implement best practices and drive continual productivity improvements
• Work closely with the client and other Tier 1 suppliers in a ‘one team’ approach
• Coordinate with design management team to ensure timely progress
• Develop and manage trackers and reporting processes
• Deliver internal and external reporting on project performance

As the Project Manager your skills and qualifications will be:

• Proven track record in large infrastructure project delivery
• Experience with baggage systems (desirable)
• Familiarity with Heathrow’s Governance lifecycle (desirable)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, Civil3D, BIM360, and Bentley MicroStation 3D Modelling
