Project Engineer
Reporting of the Role
This role reports to Chief Engineer
Overview of job
Sitting in part of the Assets and Engineering team and reporting to the Chief Engineer you will manage multiple projects (value per project circa £5,000 to £250,000) and take accountability for the delivery and management of those assigned projects (on-time, to budget, to scope and in line with all safety requirements). These projects will be working on our Train Operating Company Franchises (TOC), installing both digital and classic inventory.
You will own the projects from concept to completion, from tender all the way through to operational handover.
Using a combination of best practice and best fit, you will have ownership of the successful delivery of projects which will lead to the growth of our estate. Your delivery is visible to our key clients along with the business, so we are looking for you to raise the standard of our project delivery.
