Production Lead

Location: Quedgeley, Gloucester
Hours: Pitman shift pattern, day shifts only
Salary: 39,963.32 per annum

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate production teams to achieve targets and meet schedules through proactive planning and problem-solving.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Ensure effective communication across shifts, including detailed handovers.
• Manage real-time operational adjustments based on production needs and material availability.
• Oversee resource allocation and inventory levels, ensuring ERP system accuracy.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve production issues.
• Enforce health, safety, and quality standards while promoting best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and team development experience.
• Proven track record in driving continuous improvement.
• ERP and production management system proficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
