Production Coordinator – Mars Wrigley Plymouth – Weekend shift
Weekend Shift 29 hours – Sat/Sun – (6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am) rotating plus 5 additional hours in the week (Flexible)
Here at Mars we now have an exciting opportunity for a Production Coordinator to come and join our factory team! If you have a background in leadership within a manufacturing environment and are looking for the opportunity to take on new challenges whilst also being given the chance to develop and progress personally then look at the below:
What are we looking for?
- Experience in leadership within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Experience in an FMCG or high-speed production environment.
- SAP literacy is desirable, or a good ability to learn new systems
- Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft based systems.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Handover with incoming and outgoing Production Coordinators
- Organise shift manning, (lunch breaks & cover)
- Planning Meeting attendance, and regular connections with Scheduling Department
- Production Technical Operator
- Regular and Team Leader cover
- Standards check (GMP, CL, CIL, Shadow/Tool boards, 5S)
- Escalations, Safety & Quality, update systems as required
- End of shift handover report
- Holiday bookings and management
- Management of Purchase orders (Equipment, Tools, Training, Services)
- Cover other roles as per business requirements
