Our client, a leading organisation in the industry, is seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves email marketing and automation and is eager to contribute to a variety of marketing initiatives.

Job title: Part-time Marketing Assistant
Duration: 9 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave
Start date: Immediate
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: 27,000 – 30,000 FTE
Hours: 4 days across Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Hybrid: Hybrid working for a healthy work-life balance, working 1 day in the office, preferably a Tuesday

Responsibilities:
Mailchimp & Salesforce:
- Design and edit HTML email templates using Dreamweaver, Mailchimp and Salesforce.
- Planning of weekly emails.
- Transfer of HTML in MailChimp to Email templates in Salesforce.
- Updating email headers with new text and images in Canva.
- Create visually appealing graphics using Canva and Adobe Illustrator.
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp and Salesforce.
- Import, reuse, and share custom HTML templates in Mailchimp.
- Utilise Salesforce for automating marketing processes. Maintenance of existing automations in salesforce.
- Work with the data team for campaigns.
- Work with editorial team for guidance on copy for books & special reports.
- Collaboratively working with the Belgium team to create action codes and campaigns through the marketing database. (CITRIX)
Reporting:
- Monthly competitor reporting
- Monthly Marketing team report – email and automation, recommendations.
- Monthly competitor reporting – focusing on AI and the general product.
- Use of initiative regarding new projects being rolled out.
Skills and experience needed for this position:
- Proven experience with Salesforce, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Proficiency in HTML and experience with Mailchimp for email marketing.
- Canva experience.
- CMS experience (desirable).
- Familiarity with Feefo
