I am working for an award winning engineering company based in Sittingbourne. The company employs 160 people and operates 24 hrs per day, 6 days per week. The Company has grown quickly to become an industry leader and one helping to shape the sector. 
Due to expansion they are now looking for:
Operations Manager
The job holder has responsibility for managing all operational activities and is accountable for driving all key business metrics and will develop the site operation, in terms of organisational capability and asset structure, to meet the anticipated future needs of the business.

They will plan and direct the operational activities to achieve agreed business targets and standards for safety, environment, quality, delivery, development and cost performance.

You will have a background in engineering or a wide knowledge of manufacturing or production processes and have a working understanding of principles and tools of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
