Portal Official Veterinarian – Dover
Seeking a new challenge, we are currently seeking a professional and friendly Veterinarian to join our dynamic team in Dover.
No prior POV experience required, as full comprehensive training is provided to qualified Vets with RCVS certification.
As a Portal OV, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable guidance on imported products of animal origin (POAOs) and supporting Border Control Officials and Dover Portal Health Team with the biosecurity measures to stop the entrance of illegal POAO into the country.

In this full-time, permanent position, you can expect a competitive remuneration package starting at a minimum of £46,000 (DOE), with opportunities for salary growth based on your experience and commitment.

The working schedule is 40 hours over a 7-day rota, with the availability of overtime and unsocial hour premium.
Fluency in English is a requirement for this role, along with RCVS certification and the necessary right to work in the United Kingdom.
