As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leadership and Team Management:
Inspire and lead a team of dedicated nursery practitioners.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Curriculum Development:
Oversee the implementation of a well-rounded and engaging curriculum.
Ensure activities support the developmental needs of each child.
Parental Engagement:
Build strong relationships with parents, fostering open communication.
Organize regular parent meetings and events.
Safeguarding and compliance
Ensure the nursery adheres to all regulatory requirements and standards.
Implement and maintain robust safeguarding procedures.
Be the Designated Safeguarding Lead
Operational Management:
Manage day-to-day operations efficiently, including staffing, nursery education funding, budgets, and resources.
Contribute to the strategic development of the nursery.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or similar role.
Relevant qualifications in childcare and management.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of early childhood development and education.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
