We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our vibrant and dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality MFL lessons to KS3 students, inspiring a love for languages and fostering linguistic proficiency. The role involves planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school community

Your Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons to KS3 students.
• Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting challenging targets.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to engage with language learning.
• Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of the MFL department.
• Promote the cultural aspects of language learning through extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching MFL at the KS3 level.
• Strong subject knowledge in at least one of the following languages: French, Spanish, or German.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
