Are you a passionate Mechanical Project Manager looking for an exciting new role? Coulter Elite Resourcing is currently looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in North London, as part of their Mechanical team.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will lead a team of professionals, coordinating various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards. Your technical mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills will be crucial in addressing challenges and delivering successful projects.

Principle Responsibilities for the Mechanical Project Manager:

• Oversee and manage mechanical projects from start to finish
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
• Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
• Provide technical expertise and problem-solving solutions
• Conduct regular project reviews and progress reports
• Manage project documentation and contracts
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all project phases
• Address and resolve any project-related issues promptly
• Facilitate smooth handover of completed projects to clients

Person specification:

• Extensive experience in mechanical project management, preferably with a background as a qualified manual operative
• Must have excellent decision-making skills and the ability to deal with difficult situations head on
• A high level of IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel
• Ability to prioritise, plan, and organise workloads in a busy environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player

This is a full-time permanent Mechanical Project Manager position, working hours dependent on site requirements, offering an annual salary of up to 65,000 plus annual company benefits including 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products, and free car parking.
